Industry Centers

eurofactura’s Industry Centers bring together the perspectives of users from a wide range of industries and represent the practice-oriented dimension of the association’s work. Here, electronic invoicing requirements are captured directly from day-to-day business operations, structured, and placed within the context of regulatory and technical frameworks. The aim is to identify sector-specific particularities early on and to channel them systematically into the further development of e-invoicing, standards, and digital infrastructures.

Within each Industry Center, at least five companies work together with the relevant industry associations and selected solution providers. This structured collaboration ensures that practical challenges are taken into account alongside concrete implementation options. Building on this, shared interests are formulated, sector-typical requirements are defined, and viable approaches to implementing electronic invoicing processes are developed. The findings are prepared in such a way that they serve as a well-founded basis for expert discussions as well as for political, regulatory, and standardization-related decision-making processes.

As a user-side structure, the Industry Centers complement the work of eurofactura’s Competence Centers. While the latter address cross-cutting technical topics, the Industry Centers consolidate the experience of users from various sectors of the economy. Together, they form the basis for effective advocacy and for the further development of open, interoperable, and practical solutions.
